Hi,
my name is Eugene O'Donald
I'm an 18 year old student currently passing my Abitur (general qualification for university entrance) equivalent with a High school degree. Living in Germany over the past year I've been developing this free online video community for students and teachers. Lectr functions through contributions(uploads) which can be made by teachers, students and anybody capable of explaining a school related subject. The goal is to host a minimum of one video per every subject a student faces during his walk through the educational system. These can then be used by scholars and students to repeat lessons, refresh before exams and help with homework

I am aware that similar sites such as www.academicearth.org and www.youtube.com/edu exist, but non of them seem to provide help for Junior High School, Middle School and High School students. Although Lectr also started as a university based knowledge site, it is changing its priorities focusing on educational videos useful for Junior High School, Middle School and High School students.
